SIZE: 4 5/8" x 6 1/4" Unique Christmas cards featuring a winter scene with Asian artwork by an internationally famous artist. The original woodblock print was made by the Japanese artist Utagawa Hiroshige (Japanese, 1797–1858). The cards show the Year End Fair at Kinryuzan Temple (ca. 1836). The back of each card gives the history of the design and says Metropolitan Museum of Art. The vintage woodblock print is now in The Metropolitan Museum's Asian art collection.
