Knotgrass is widespread across many countries in temperate regions, apparently native to Eurasia and North America. The other common names of the herb are common knotgrass, prostrate knotweed, birdweed, pigweed and lowgrass. Knotgrass Herb tea is pleasant and may be enjoyed throughout the day. To prepare a tea, take 1-2 tsp of the Knotgrass Herb to 1 cup (200 ml) of water, steep for 15 minutes and then strain and drink. A tincture can be made by adding the Knotgrass Herb to 45% alcohol (one part of dried herb to 5 parts of alcohol). The mixture should be allowed to stand for eight days before the herb is filtered off.
