KenKoy ET164 allows you to connect an HDMI source such as cable box, DVR, blu-ray player or any other HDMI device over cat6 or cat5e cable up to 165 feet away to a remote display. This HDMI balun kit also features a transmitter with HDMI loop-out or passthrough to connect a display near the source and connect another display to the receiver unit at the remote location. The IR is also extended using the included IR receiver and emitter kit in order to control the HDMI source via IR remote from from the Receiver's location. The manual EDID also let's you select the EDID mode of the display connected to either transmitter unit or the receiver unit of the balun.
