Enjoy these B&W Vintage Images printed on our Revolutionary New Fine Art system using 100% Pure Carbon monochrome inks - so not only do they have an incredibly rich tonal depth with 3X the resolution of competing technologies - the carbon particles also provide your print with the highest longevity and archivability! Ray Jerome Baker (1880-1972) Baker was born in Illinois. At the age of 18 he moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, where he studied mechanics and photography. In 1910 Baker moved to Honolulu where he remained active as a photographer and travel lecturer until 1959. He produced thousands of photographic images as black-and-white prints, postcards and books, and as glass plates. His studies of the Pacific people of Hawaii are an ethnographical and environmental resource. Ray Jerome Baker passed on in Honolulu but his legacy is preserved in the Bishop Museum and the State Archives.
