Tremendous care has been given to produce our Organic Green Tea. Unlike many farms who harvest their green tea 2-4 times a year, ours are only harvested once a year (Ichibancha / First Harvest). This produces the highest quality tea. Our Organic Single Origin Genmai cha Matcha-iri is a Premium blend of Organic Sencha, Organic Japanese Roasted Brown Rice, and Organic Premium Matcha. The Matcha powder lightly coats the Sencha leaves and Puffed rice, adding a fresh and mellow taste. This unique tea combines the aroma of roasted rice with the refreshing flavor of Japanese green tea, resulting in a delicious medium bodied nutty tasting tea with a light green color much like gyukuro. DIRECTIONS: Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of tea into cup/pot. Pour in 7-8 oz of hot water(176f/80c) and let brew for 1 minute. *Perfect hot or Iced. Note: Our tea can be re-brewed up to 3 times ENJOY!
