We have managed to give “spreadability”, “palatability” and taste to a plant based nut butter spread with added protein. Its texture and consistency remarkably mimic all of our non vegan spreads. No bitterness and no residual floating oil. The secret is in the process. For protein we use a 70-30 blend of Pea Isolate Protein and Soy Isolate protein. And like all of the others, we add Stevia and Flax and Salt to round out the flavor.
