TerraTex Inlet Sacks are designed to protect square or rectangular storm water inlets from the sediment and debris that can become dislodged during rain events. The sacks fit underneath and are held in place by the cast iron grate; the bag and grate can be removed for maintenance by inserting 1/4-inch rebar into two of the pockets on either side of the sack. Once emptied, the bag and grate can be replaced back into the inlet. TerraTex Inlet Sacks are one of the best devices available to prevent pollutants from entering our surface waters through municipal separate storm sewer systems.
