Known as the "coffee shrub of Arabia", "mountain coffee" or "arabica coffee" -- Coffea arabica is believed to be the first species of coffee to be cultivated, being grown in southwest Arabia for well over 1,000 years. You can enjoy growing your own Coffea Arabica Nana bean plant at home with a kit that includes everything you need to get started with a wonderful dwarf plant! Coffee can be a fun and rare plant to grow and we understand that not everyone has a green thumb. Thankfully, we have you covered with our own 1 year Grow Guarantee on your Arabica Bean Seed Kit (Registration required). This bean plant makes for a charming houseplant and a great exotic, novelty gift for plant lovers. The grow kit includes plenty of prime coffee seeds for planting, seedling pots, coconut coir disks, and more! Our premium quality coconut coir compressed soil disc provides the ideal foundation for coffee starting your seeds and encouraging germination. The coir husk particles are compressed into small discs that expand to a perfect neutral soil when hot water is added. Compressed discs can absorb and retain moisture flawlessly and will aid you in growing coffee as an indoor plant. The coir is easy to prepare and any extra material can be stored for use later or mixed with other potting soil for a wide variety of houseplants. When your coffee seedlings reach 8 inches in height indoors, it is time to repot your seedlings into a larger pot. Repot once more when your live plant reaches 24 inches, which normally takes place approximately a year after you begin growing your own plant. Note: This kit only contains seeds from coffee berries, live coffee plants not included. Our coffee seeds are tested for germination and NOT the same as green coffee, which is processed and will not grow.
