A Winning Shine In Four Easy Steps Step 1 – Start with a clean, dry car. Remove embedded contaminants from your paint with Griot’s Garage Paint Cleaning Clay. Step 2 – If desired, polish to remove fine scratches and swirl marks with a Griot’s Garage 6” Random Orbital, Machine Polishes, and an Orange Foam Polish Pad. Step 3 – Apply Best Of Show Wax with a 6” Random Orbital (or by hand) and Red Foam Wax Pad. Because of its high carnauba content, a little goes a long way. Work Best Of Show Wax into the paint in a cross-hatch pattern. Once the entire car has been waxed, allow it to cure for a few hours, until the wax can be buffed off without streaking. Step 4 – Use a soft cloth to buff off wax to a deep shine. TIP: If wax is difficult to remove, you may have used too much wax during application. Remember, a little goes a long way.
