A hardy, drought-resistant plant that blooms from July to October.
Start seeds indoors 6 weeks before the last frost in a mixture of humus and garden soil.
Pre-soak seeds for 12 hours in lukewarm water. Sow ¼-inch deep 2-3 seeds in one section or hole and keep at the temp. 68°F. Water the seedlings regularly during the growing period but water less when the plants are mature.
Outdoors plant seeds after the last frost in a full sun area. Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart and keep them moderately moist.
