ALUMINUM Trim Tab Anode for Mercruiser Alpha Sterndrives & Mercury Outboard applications 35 HP & larger. Fits: Mercruiser TR, TRS, Alpha One & Alpha One Gen II sterndrive applications. Also, most Mercury outboard applications 35 hp & higher. Aluminum anodes are recommended for salt or brackish water & are also a suitable substitute for magnesium anodes in fresh water. They are very helpful if you use your boat in fresh & salt water as magnesium anodes are not recommended for salt or brackish water. *Always check propeller clearance when installing a new anode, in particular stainless steel propellers which often have more rake and/or larger in diameter than aluminum props. Most stainless props require the installation of a flat anode.
