Product Description Give Me 10! is a super charged, super efficient program that includes FIVE 10-minute workouts so you can fit fitness into your lifestyle and do it your way, every day! Amy Dixon has designed this program to help you burn fat and calories, lose weight and inches, and get toned and lifted. It works the entire body, so it's everything you need in one energy-packed program. Plus, it's customizable, so you can do one or two segments, mix and match them, or do all of them together on days that you have more time. Review A couple of years ago, Dixon popped up on my radar as an up-and-coming DVD instructor. With this group of six 10-minute workouts, she's more than realized her promise. Each segment focuses on a different area toning for upper body, lower body and abs, cardio, Yoga, and an extra-fun bonus; kettlebell workout and Dixon makes every minute count with fresh moves that challenge your muscles in slightly different ways than classic exercises do. And that bonus workout yes, you can use dumbbells, but I can almost guarantee you will want to go out and buy a kettlebell! If you have the budget for just one new exercise DVD this year, make it this one. --Yourexercisedvds.com Amy Dixon is beloved in the fitness DVD world for her effective, engaging workouts. Her latest DVD, Give Me 10! is another winner. Looking for cardio? Yoga? Kettlebell? Strength training? You can do it all in this workout, which is broken up into six separate 10-minute workouts: 1.Fat-Blasting Cardio 2.Upper Body Sculpt 3.Lower Body Firmer 4.Core Makeover 5.Yoga Stretch & Flex 6.Kettlebell Toneup The cardio portion is high intensity but not high impact. She uses a lot of upper body moves to get your heart rate going, and there are modifications from the background exercisers if you want to take the intensity down a notch. All you need for the DVD is a set of dumbbells and a yoga mat. (A kettlebell is optional.) While the DVD is not programmable, you can either do all six workouts at once or pick and choose your own workout. I did cardio, kettlebell and yoga to cool down. The cardio got my heart rate up quickly and kept it at a moderate level, as did the kettlebell workout, which is a great 10-minute introduction to the fitness tool. The yoga workout was very do-able and focused a lot on stretching and lengthening the muscles -- great after the cardio and kettlebell. --examiner.com The best part about these types of DVDs is the mix of activities they provide in just one DVD. And Amy Dixon s Give Me 10! is no different. In this DVD, Amy gives you Fat Blasting Cardio, Upper-Body Sculpt, Lower-Body Firmer, Core Makeover, Yoga Stretch and Flex, and a Bonus KettleBell Tone Up. Something for everyone, for sure. And enough to push everyone to try something new, fo shizzle. --Fitbottomedgirls.com About the Actor Amy Dixon is one of the most dynamic fitness instructors and celebrity Master Trainers in the industry today.
