Lopez continues to mine his Hispanic roots--and delivers a fair amount of this performance in Spanish. He has some choice words for the borderline-racist sheriff in Arizona, Joe Arpaio, as well as for one-time Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. His topical comedy is hilarious, but Lopez also finds the small moments in everyday life that are perplexing and amusing, much like Jerry Seinfeld does. His bit on women and snoring will ring uncomfortably true for men and women--and maybe even rappers. Lopez is not a larger-than-life comic like, say, Chris Rock; but Lopez's strength is in being completely willing to be himself--and a very loud version of himself.
