Q:How to prevent? A:Please do not pull out the oil tube with brute strength. When the oil tube is too tight or hard to pull out 1)You could pull it out after it’s slightly heated. 2)Or cut it out, and then the oil tube would be fell off automatically, which is highly recommended. 2.Fuel Pump inlet Leakage:If you install the oil filter with great strength, it might lead to fuel pump inlet leakage. Q:How to prevent A:Try not to install the filter too hard. If you’re afraid that it’s not tight enough, you could wrap the filter with Teflon tape (or waterproof seal tape), and then install it with proper force. 3.Run but Not Priming: Three main reasons: (please check the first one when this issue occurs) 1)Air leakage in pump inlet or filter (cannot form pressure difference) 2)Seal ring is separated from outer metal body case and there remains some air gap due to dried-up oil after a period of usage. 3)Fuel pump outlet is blocked. Q:How to solve? 1.Before installing, please immerse the whole pump into the fuel for a few minutes. 2.You could slightly blow the pump outlet with mouth or air gun.
