Since its formation in 2006, the foundation has evolved to now include membership for all coffee growers - indigenous or not - and changed its objectives to incorporate the promotion of coffee growing as a method of empowerment and commercial justice. Given the Caribbean Sea's soft breeze, the soil conditions, the weather and the altitude at which the coffee is grown, the cup takes on a light nutty taste and a great character.
