Florida Flame Vine is an easy to grow vine and is an ideal choice for quick cover, and provides truly spectacular, traffic stopping show of color. It blooms in the mid to late spring with hanging boughs of tubular trumpet shaped flowers in vibrant orange. It is also known as Orange Trumpet Creeper, Golden Shower Vine, and Hanging Fire Vine. Florida Flame Vine can be formed and trained over or around most any support, and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
It thrives in poor sandy soils and is drought tolerant once well established.
For the best bloom, prune and maintain regularly during the summer and do not allow escape from the planting area.
Great focal point choice for a pergola, arbor, entry arch, fence line or trellis.
