Flahavan's select only the finest Irish oats. These oats are then carefully dried and cleaned in preparation for milling. The indigestible outer shell is removed leaving the oat kernel, which is chopped, steamed and then rolled flat to make oatlets. It is a flaked oatmeal product which can be easily cooked on the hob (in 3 minutes) or in 2 minutes in the microwave.
