Fireweed is a native plant to the temperate Northern Hemisphere and grows mainly in forests. It can be found in Canada and the northern United States. It is also known as great willow-herb and rosebay willow-herb. In Russia, fireweed is made into a tea known as Ivan Chai. To make a tea, take 1 tsp of Fireweed Herb per 1 cup (200 ml) of boiled water and steep for about 5-15 minutes. The tea has a pleasant mild taste and can be mixed with other herbs for flavour.
