The term vermicelli is also used to describe various types of thin noodles from Asia. In Vietnam vermicelli is the same as angel hair pasta or capellini. Cooking Instructions: Add enough water to a boil to cover the noodles (or you can use very hot tap water). Turn off heat and immerse rice noodles in hot water for 3-7 minutes until noodles are soft, cooked though but still firm and al dante, not mushy (Check firmness frequently, as you would regular pasta). Rinse with cold water for 30 seconds and drain well.
