The oldest Chinese bonsai indoor plant that is easy to grow and in perfect condition can last up to 45 years.
Soak seeds for 48 hours in a cup of water and use only ones that sank to the bottom. For better germination, you can also keep seeds in the fridge for 1 to 2 months after soaking. Scatter them on the surface of free-draining, damp peat seed sowing mix in a container. Dont cover as they need light. Place container in a propagator until germination or seal inside a polythene bag with temp. 70-80°F inside. Transplant seedlings when the 2nd set leaves appear, into 3? pots. Keep the soil moist and dont let it dry out. Protect the plant from direct sunlight, draft and hit from radiators. Dont move the plant unless necessary. Water regularly during the growing period and reduce watering to once a month in autumn and winter.
