Farewell To Arms + Fighting Caravans

Two films featuring Gary Cooper on one DVD, first the 1932 classic “Farewell To Arms” is a story of the love between ambulance driver Lt. Henry (Cooper) and Nurse Catherine Barkley (Helen Hayes) during World War I. The action takes place in Italy and the two fall in love during the war and will stop at nothing to be together. The second movie “Fighting Caravans” from 1931 has Cooper playing a frontier guide named Clint Belmet that helps lead a caravan of wagons across the country, fighting off Indians and evil traders along the way. Also Belmet friends try to save him from falling in love with a French maiden named Felice played by Lili Damita.
