Record in a quite environment and stay away from noise making devices. How to Lock your Recording Slide the switch into (P) position. Squeeze and hold the recorder till you hear SINGLE BEEP (about 5 seconds). Now, recording is locked. No re-recording is possible until it is unlocked. How to Unlock your Recording Slide the switch into (P) position. Squeeze heart and hold till you hear DOUBLE BEEP (about 5 seconds). Now, you can re-record messages. How to Replace the Batteries Recorder uses 3 LR44 (AG13) batteries that can be purchased at most retail/online stores. Remove screw from back of the recorder. Slide out the battery compartment lid. Replace the old 3 batteries with new ones (pay attention to (+)/(-) poles). Slide in and screw back battery compartment lid.
