Instructions:
1?If ladder has continuous rope rigging, cut rope 2" or 3" below clamp and hold match or heat on cut ends to melt fibers together to prevent rope from fraying. Rope will no longer be continuous.
lf rope is looped around bottom rung of fly, rope cutting will not be necessary.
2?Making sure that the drill bit is centered on the rivet head use a 1/4" diameter bit to drill through the rivet head but not so deep as to hit the rung.
3?If rivet head does not fall off, gently tap with chisel and hammer. Keep chisel parallel to ladder rung while tapping with the hammer.
4?With head of rivet removed, tap rivet on through using a 3/16" diameter punch and hammer.
5?Pull the old pulley off the end of the rope.
6?Attach new rung bracket to rung with pop rivet included in kit using hand riveter.
7?Connect new pulley assembly to rung bracket using new machine screw and locknut supplied in kit. Make sure pulley swivels freely after locknut is tightened.
Rethread rope through pulley assembly.
