Everglades National Park Florida U.S. Commemorative Quarter Coin Necklace Jasper Stone Pendant 2014

This unique quarter coin necklace was made from combining an authentic U.S Park quarter dollar coin with a beautifully polished Jasper stone bead flanked by tiny metal beads. It is part of the America the Beautiful National Park series. This U.S. quarter coin depicts The Everglades National Park, Florida, dated 2014. The quarter has a wonderfully detailed image of the wildlife at the park. An anhinga with outstretched wings is in the foreground with a roseate spoonbill bird close behind. Both birds are native to Florida. After I drilled the coin, I cleaned and polished the quarter. Notice that the coin has been domed to add interest. I oxidized the metal creating the distinctive patina seen in the pictures. It has a nice, gunmetal look. I wire wrapped the stone bead and metal beads to the quarter. The circulated, domed quarter is 15/16 inch (24mm) in diameter and in excellent condition. It is suspended by sturdy wire from a 24 inch (60.9cm) rhodium-plated cable chain secured by a lobster clasp. The beada and coin hang 2 inches (53mm) from the chain. You might not receive the exact necklace pictured. Expect slight differences due to the handmade process. The chain can be shortened upon request.
