IHSAHN was only 13 when he started playing in what developed into one of the world's most influential black metal bands, EMPEROR. At only 17 he recorded "In the Nightside Eclipse" which has been voted one of the top metal albums of all time many times over. Since then IHSAHN has divided his time between the metal & avant-garde worlds in projects like EMPEROR & THOU SHALT SUFFER and his ongoing solo vessel Ihsahn.
