Sea turtle facts:
Six of the seven species of sea turtles are currently listed as endangered. Their names are: Green turtle, Leatherback, Hawksbill, Kemp's Ridley, Olive Ridley, and Flatback.
The largest sea turtle is the leatherback sea turtle. It grows up to 7 feet long and weighs up to 2,000 pounds! The largest leatherback ever found was 8.5 feet long and weighed 2,020 pounds!
