Ellis Island Commemorative Quarter Domed Coin Necklace New Jersey Liberty National Monument 2017

This coin necklace was made from an authentic U.S quarter dollar coin. These quarters were minted as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. This U.S. commemorative quarter coin, dated 2017, depicts an immigrant family approaching Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty National Monument. The hospital building can be seen in the background. After I drilled the coin, I cleaned, and polished the copper-nickel quarter. I darkened the metal without the use of chemicals to enhance the image on the coin. Notice that the coin has been domed to add interest. The coin's diameter is 15/16 inch (24mm) and it hangs from a 30 inch (76.2cm) stainless steel ball chain. The chain can be shortened upon request. The necklace you receive might not be the one pictured, but will be very similar. Expect slight differences due to the handmade process.
