?How to open the battery compartment?
Recently we had an issue with our electric can opener where the battery door was difficult to open.
Here are some instructions on how to open the battery compartment of these can openers:
?Step 1: Find the non-slip edge of the electric can opener.
?Step 2: Press down on the non-slip edge on the left side and push back gently.
?Step 3: The same operation on the right side.
?Step 4: Pull it back and open.
?Operating the Electric Can Opener
?Step1 - Place the electric can opener on top of the can with its rim positioned in the groove between the Cutter and the Drive Wheel
?Step2 - With the can on a flat surface, press the Button for about one second and release, then the Can Opener will start cutting the side of the can
?Step3 - When the cutting has completed, press the button immediately to reverse the cutter
?Step4 - Make sure that the cutter resets to the start position and the motor stops. Then, lift the electric can opener off the can
?TROUBLESHOOTING:
?1. If the battery is dead, pressing the button may not release the can. Slide the battery cover back and replace the 2 AA batteries. Both batteries need to be replaced at the same time, otherwise it will affect the opening of the can.
?2. Cans with heavy seams and uneven edges may stall the can opener. If this happens, follow the procedure above to release the jar.
