Elasto Patch Seam Patching Compound - 1 Quart

Elasto Patch, Elastic White Roof Patch is an extra tough, flexible repair compound designed to patch splits, cracks and holes in roof surfaces. This water based patch dries quickly to a non-tacky surface which offers great adhesion to all coatings applied over it. It is designed to repair cracks and holes up to 1" in width. Elasto Patch should be used with Seam and Repair Fabric. Elasto Patch remains flexible while it expands and contracts with your repair, making it ideal to use with all Elasto Patch products. Do Not Allow Stored Product To Freeze. PREPARATION: All surfaces must be dry and free of dust, dirt, oil, loose granules, gravel or peeling paint and all other foreign matter. Rusty metal must be cleaned with a wire brush and primed with a suitable primer before application of this product. Washing entire surface is recommended for best results. Surfaces with mildew growth or stains must be cleaned with a bleach solution (2 parts water to one part bleach) prior to applying this product. Be certain all surfaces are thoroughly rinsed and dry prior to applying patching material. Surface and air temperatures must be a minimum of 55°F and rising. DO NOT apply if heavy dew or rain is expected within 24-48 hours. Apply on clear, sunny day in morning hours with a stiff bristled paint brush. Coat entire damaged area with white patch, and extend 2" (inches) beyond damaged area. Embed Reinforcing Fabric into the repair while wet. Apply second layer of patch, brushing over and into embedded fabric. Allow to cure 24-48 hours and coat entire roof with a reflective roof coating. DO NOT Thin. COVERAGE RATE: Approximately 25 sq. ft. per gal. Per coat. CLEAN-UP: Clean tools with soap and water. PRECAUTIONS: Do not allow product to freeze. Protective clothing and eye wear should be used during application of these products. When transporting this product, ensure that lid is tight and the pail is secure and upright.
