Eegah/The Giant Gila Monster

DVD format. Intercontinental, 2004. Here's a double feature to remember: Eegah runs 91 minutes and is in color. The Giant Gila Monster runs 75 minutes and is in black and white. In our first neo-classic, seen mostly in drive-ins on original release, a group of California teens find a real-life caveman. We're going to have a couple of songs too. Richard Kiel, of all people, plays our Neanderthal, who manages to upset Palm Springs a lot. Our other beastly feature presents a quite hungry, 50-foot long Gila monster, who has settled down in a small town in Texas, and has a new-found appetite for motorists, train passengers, and party goers. A quick-witted mechanic has an idea to save the day.
