Anterior developed swiftly on the encounter of four 17-year-old school friends, a realization of potential produced a tight line up, composing and playing in their own ferocious style. Anterior successfully captured local promoters interest bringing about some memorable early shows, and bigger support slots soon followed. Network sites like MySpace gave Anterior immediate attention worldwide, sparking offers from labels, finally signing a worldwide deal with Metal Blade Records in December 2006.
