Sow in spring into finely raked soil. Barely cover and gently press seeds into the soil. Keep moist until established. **NOTE: Will form a basal rosette in the first year and the full, tall plant will grow from the rosette in the second year** Can be sown in Fall. Harvest by cutting a notch in the stalk and collecting the white sap.
