Since the rug is folded and shipped, it may be wrinkled. But don't worry, it will return to its original shape after a few days. You can try loosely rolling the rug back in the opposite direction, laying it upside down, or using heavy plants, books, upturned furniture, or mattresses to push back on the fibers to help the rug relax quickly. Or you can use low-temperature ironing to restore it.
How to care?
To wash it, please use a delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. If you don't mind risking shrinkage of 1 inch, you can just wash it as you would wash any dark-colored cotton items. However, we recommend letting it dry outside as a drier will most certainly shrink the rug a little. You can stretch the rug or iron it at low heat to return it to its original form.
