Dracaena Cintho, a gorgeous Dracaena variety, is a great plant option because of its broad, strappy leaves with distinct emerald and lime-green coloring. It is an eye-catching houseplant with two or three stems that resemble mini-palm trees and grow in spaces where natural sunlight may be limited. Dracaena Cintho grows slowly and can reach about 3 feet tall with a spread of only 1.5 feet, which is perfect for limited space. This plant is effective at removing toxins and purifying the air in indoor spaces. Native in Africa, it is recommended to put this plant in fairly low light. A spot with indirect sunlight or near an east-facing window to prevent it from sunburning is good. This fairly drought-resistant evolves to tolerate periods of water scarcity. It is good to water only when the top half of the soil is dry or when a moisture meter reads 2-3. Light, fast-draining potting soil. Temperatures between 65 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit are ideal for Dracaena Cintho. A freezing or scorching spot can damage most of the leaves in a flash. This plant should be fertilized once a month in the spring/summer with a diluted, gentle liquid fertilizer. During the colder period, you can skip it. This plant's hardiness zone is 10-12.
