DMI Reach Assist Dressing Aid Kit. These convenient, easy-to-use daily essentials make dressing easier for those who have limited mobility, trouble bending, use of only one hand or are recovering from surgery. Kit includes: Deluxe Sock Aid with terry cloth cover. 24 inch dressing stick (wood with coated wire hooks). 24 inch trigger style reacher. 19 ½ inch shoe horn. 22 ½ Scrubbies long handled bath sponge ( with foam head). Sock Aid-Slide the sock over the end and place on the foot in front of your feet. While sitting down, hold the two straps and slip your toes into the sock. Pull the straps until the sock is completely on your foot and the aid slides out of the sock To wash: hand wash in warm soapy water. Hang to dry. A small “C” hook on one end helps you pull zippers and shoelace loops. The larger hook/pusher assists you in putting on shirts and jackets, pulling up slacks and skirts and removing sock. The jaw opens a full 2-1/2" (63 cm) and provides a tight grip on even the smallest items such as coins or bulky items like newspapers, clothing and cans. A hook-like extension on the front can be used as a dressing aid.
