This Dixon KM Series mender hose fitting is made of steel and is suitable for repairing a broken hose. This hose mender has barbed ends to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule (not included). It is made of steel for better weldability and increased rust resistance than wrought iron. The ends of this hose mender are designed for two clamps on each end. It is not recommended for use with compressible products such as air, nitrogen, or steam.
