Dixon BLS646 Brass Hose Fitting Long Shank Coupling 3 4 NPSM Female x 3 4 Hose ID Barbed

This Dixon BLS Series brass long shank coupling has a National Pipe Straight Mechanical (NPSM) female fitting with a rubber seal for preventing leaks and a barbed fitting for connecting to hose. This fitting has a long, multi-barbed shank to create a tight seal when used with a Lok-On (push-on style) hose. No hose clamps or ferrules are needed. This push-on hose adapter is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel, and the relative softness of the brass threading allows for a tight seal to resist leaks. This fitting is suitable for mechanical applications where there are no internal pressures, such as conduit connections for electrical wiring.
