This Stegosaurus is made from natural green poplar wood. We've sanded the wood and all corners smooth (yes even those spikes and armored plates) so this toy will be delicate in the hands of your little one. Or you! Joy-loving adults are guaranteed to have as much fun with this stegosaurus as gleeful children.
The dinosaur is about 5-1/2 inches long, 3 inches high, and a bit under an inch thick. As with all our toys, we've sanded the wood and all the edges edges of this toy smooth so it will be delicate in the hands of your little one. This toy is intended for children over 3. It's not a teether, but is safe if toddlers take a taste test. This toy is finished with a natural and non-toxic beeswax polish we make ourselves and leaves this wood toy with a smooth finish. All colors you see are natural - we use no stains, dyes, or paint.
