Diesel Fuel Injector Cap / Block-Off Tool for 2007.5-2016 6.7L Dodge/Cummins Diesel Sold Individual This is a toolbox essential for everyone working on common rail fuel systems Replaces Miller 9864 Fits 2007 - 2017 Dodge / Cummins 6.7L Diesel Most often used for locating an injector with high return rate that is causing a no-start condition NOTE: This tool will also work on Duramax applications 2006 - 2010 (LBZ and LMM) When a 6.7L Cummins common rail engine will not start, the very first thing to check is fuel rail pressure. If the pressure is less than 4,000 PSI, one of the most likely causes is a defective injector that is returning excess fuel back to the tank. A return flow volume test will verify if excessive return flow is the problem. This cap is then used to identify the individual cylinder that is at fault. The injection line is removed for one cylinder at a time and the cap installed on the fuel rail in place of the injection line. When the cylinder with the offending injector is capped, the rail pressure will rise and the truck will start. This tool will also work on other vehicles with a 18mm fuel line nut.
