It's made with a high-grade acrylic emulsion for optimal flexibility and durability. Titanium White Gesso offers excellent coverage and opacity and has a great lightfast rating. Use it to create a paintable surface for acrylics, oils, and alkyds. It cleans up with water. This gesso doesn't contain the oil acids found in traditional grounds (which tend to deteriorate cotton or linen canvas fibers) so an under-sizing isn't needed.
