Cumberland Island National Seashore Georgia U.S. Quarter Commemorative Domed Coin Necklace 2018

This domed coin necklace was made from an authentic U.S quarter dollar coin. These quarters were minted as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. This coin represents The Cumberland Island National Seashore in Georgia and dated 2018. The image is a snowy egret posing at the edge of a salt marsh, ready for flight. You might not receive the exact coin pictured, but a Cumberland Island quarter that has been made the same way. Expect minor differences due to the handmade process. After I drilled the coin, I cleaned, and polished the copper-nickel quarter. I darkened the metal without the use of chemicals to enhance the image on the coin. Notice that the coin has been domed to add interest. The coin's diameter is 15/16 inch (24mm) and it hangs from a 30 inch (76.2cm) stainless steel ball chain. The chain can be shortened upon request.
