The thin outer coating keeps your hands clean while drawing. These pencils sharpen easily in any pencil sharpener. These graphite pencils are available in various degrees of softness from HB to 9B. A watersoluble graphite version is available in a 4B which allows for easy blending with a wet watercolor brush.
