Our figs are grown in a very special farming village high in the hills of Western Anatolia in Turkey - a farming community we have worked with since the 1980's. Grown in the fresh mountain air, they grow more slowly than other figs, which gives them their slightly thinner skin and the sweet, nutty flavour we're so proud of. We started with a liking for sandals, tie-dyed T-Shirts and a belief that food should only be grown as nature intended. Convinced that there must be people who think the same way, we set out to find them. Some people called us crazy but that didn't stop us.
