The red color can also intensify from cold winter temperatures. Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’ is a low-growing plant that spreads to form a beautiful mat of 6 inches (15 cm) in height and up to 3 feet (90 cm) wide, so it is perfect as a groundcover.
