Here is some advice to get rid of the silicone smell:

If the product is exposed to the air for 2-3 days, the taste will naturally dissipate.

If it is not troublesome, soak the silicone sleeve in boiling water for 2-3 hours, and most of the taste can be dispersed. One cannot simply assume that the product has a fruity aroma, it must be qualified. In fact, the fewer ingredients added to the product, the more guaranteed it is.

Soak in vinegar with saltwater, soak it for about ten minutes, and then it will be tasteless. (This is a faster method, you may wish to refer to it directly)

Please do not pull open the bottle totally, keep the body of bottle bottom folding 2 sections. This way will keep it stand stably.

If you need to collapse it, please open the bottle cap first (To exhaust the air), then fold the bottle easily. 

If you want to unfold it, please open the bottle cap first (To let the air in), then stretch the bottle.
