A coleus mix with an incredible range of natural color variation from bright chartreuse to hot pink and velvet black that can be grown in the pots, containers, gardens, or patio.
In zones 10-11 you can start seeds directly outdoor. Outside these zones, it is recommended to start indoors. Start indoors 8-12 weeks before the last frost. For better germination, the seeds can be refrigerated for one week before sowing. As seeds need sunlight to germinate, scatter or gently press seeds on the surface of a fine, damp seedling mix, and water them with a gentle mist. Plant 3-4 seeds in each pot or cell. Set them under indoor fluorescent lighting. The seeds will germinate in 14-20 days with a temperature of 75-80°F. Under cooler conditions, it can take up to 30 days. Transplant out when the soil has warmed to about 70°F, spacing plants 16-18 inches apart to create space for growing and for plants not to become leggy.
