ABOUT THE COFFEE When creating our Holiday Blend Coffee, we wanted to capture all our favorite memories in one beautiful and enchanting cup. Our source for inspiration for this holiday blend came during a short trip to Munich in 2018. Our grandmother is from Munich and we have been there many times before, but this is the first time we experienced the holidays in Germany. We were introduced to glühwein (spiced wine beverage served hot) while strolling through the little shop stands in Munich and thought how wonderful these notes would be in a cup of coffee. Introducing our Holiday Blend Coffee; Sweet with tart winey acidity, lots of cooked berry, and a smooth finish. This coffee comes from the Aguilera family farm in Costa Rica. They are a set of Cup of Excellence–winning siblings who carry on their longtime family tradition by working together to plant, pick, and process coffees from their combined 60 hectares of farmland.SINGLE ORIGIN DETAILS REGION: Los Robles de Naranjo, West ValleyVARIETAL: 100% Arabica Coffee ROAST LEVEL: Medium Roast Coffee TASTE NOTES: Cooked Berry, Cocoa, Wine PROCESSING METHOD: NaturalSUGGESTED RECIPES (adjust to taste): Espresso Machine: 20g of finely ground coffee yielding 40g of liquid within 30 seconds. Pour over: 23g of Coarse/Medium ground coffee for every 350g (12.3 ounces) of water. Total brew time should last between 2.5 - 3 minutes. Drip Machine: 60g of Medium/Fine ground coffee to 1 liter (33.8 ounces) of water.
