The Grape tomato plant is a determinate type tomato which is to say that it produces a onetime harvest and is done for the season. That being said, do not overlook this tomato as it is a delicious distinctively sweet grape tomato that is a wonderful addition to any garden. These 1 ounce tomatoes are delicious right off the vine or use them in fresh salads for an unusually sweet burst of flavor, and the one time harvest that it produces is abundantly huge. This is a sweet summer treat you do not want to miss. Its smaller stature 24-36 inches tall, make it suitable for large containers and excellent in patio gardens. Place plants 18-24 inches apart in a sunny location. A rich normal well-draining soil and regular watering is needed for this tomato, in fact this tomato prefers a moister soil than most tomatoes. Roots will form along the buried stem, establishing a stronger root, thus a stronger plant. Don’t water too late in the evening. You want the plants to dry thoroughly before night.
