Clovers Garden Goliath Tomato Plant – Two -2- Live Plants – Not Seeds – Each 5" to 7" Tall in 3.5 Inch Pots

The Goliath tomatoes are very a flavorful giant tomato with fewer seeds than most giant varieties. They are also larger and more disease resistant than the other giant Tomato varieties. They have been around since the 1800’s, and for good reason. The Goliath tomato plant grows 6-7 feet tall, and will produce an abundant crop of tomatoes. The 1-2 lb. fruits are bright red with a pumpkin shape to them, and some have been known to reach up to 3 pounds!! They are sweet and luscious and are a great slicing tomato for sandwiches and with fewer seeds; these are great for salads and sauces too. Plant after the danger of frost is past, spacing at least two (2) feet apart to allow the large plants reach their full growth. A sunny to part sunny location with normal soil and adequate drainage is required. When planting these and all other tomatoes, plant to a soil depth just beneath the first set of leaves. That first set of leaves (called cotyledon-which means the embryonic first leaves) will eventually fall off. Roots will form along the buried stem, establishing a stronger root, thus a stronger plant. Expect a bountiful harvest within 68-80 days (from seeding)..
