Product Description The Rain Sensor avoids unnecessary wastage of water by simply shutting down the water timer when it rains. A smart, efficient way to save water especially where watering restrictions are in place. When rain water on the ground is 15.7 ounces by square feet, the Rain Sensor internal float lifts so that a signal is sent to the water timer to stop all programs after the one in current operation. Once rain water has evaporated, the timer programs are automatically resumed even when evaporation happens during a programmed watering cycle. Extremely easy to install, remove the jumper from inside the water timer and insert the 6 foot Sensor cable (additional cable of same or larger diameter can be added to a maximum of 65 feet). Supplied with a stainless wall bracket and screws, it should be mounted in a clear area that has no coverage of plant life, foliage and undergrowth. Compatible with Claber models: Duplo Evolution (8420), Tempo Select (8486), Dual Select (8488). Unit is 100% quality controlled during manufacturing. 2-]ear warranty. Made in Italy. Do not expose at temperature below 37.4°F or higher than 122°F. From the Manufacturer The unit is designed to operate with the #8410 Duplo 2-line water timer only. Avoid unnecessary wastage of water by turning off sprinklers when raining. The system will shut down when the internal flow reaches a total level of 2oz. Programming will resume when the water evaporates. To connect, simply remove the front panel of the Duplo water timer by pressing the 2 side buttons and slide the connector onto the far left prongs. Supplied with a stainless steel wall bracket, install the sensor in a clear area up to a distance of 6-foot from water timer without any type of vegetation coverage and away from sprinklers. It is important to keep the orange over in place to keep out leaves and/or impurities that could impair operation. For customer service contact: Claber, Inc. 800-930-4566 or info@claberinc.com
